The spraying method requires some operating skills. Use the matching diluent to adjust the coating to the aluminum oxide 220 grit abrasive proper spray viscosity, and measure it with the Tu-4 viscometer. The proper viscosity is generally 18-22 seconds. The distance between the nozzle and the aluminum oxide abrasive media object surface is generally 300-400 mm. If it exceeds this range, it is difficult to obtain an ideal paint film. Air pressure is best controlled at 0.3-0.4 MPa (3-4 kgf / cm2). 


If there is no viscometer for a while, you can use the black aluminum oxide media visual inspection method: stir the coating with a rod (iron rod or wooden rod), stir it up to a height of 20 cm, and stop and observe. It is too thick; if it is disconnected from the upper edge of the barrel, it will be too thin; when the alumina abrasive paint is stopped at a height of 20 cm, the paint liquid will be in a straight line, and the flow will be cut off in an instant. This viscosity is more suitable.


Pay attention to the wind direction when white fused alumina spraying in outdoor open places (it is not suitable to work in high winds), and the operator should stand in the downwind direction to prevent the paint mist from being blown onto the sprayed paint film and causing an unsightly grainy surface. It is easy to sag if it is too close; uneven paint mist is too far away, and the white alumina powder paint mist is scattered on the way from the nozzle to cause waste.


The specific size of the distance should be adjusted appropriately according to the white aluminum oxide type, viscosity and air pressure of the coating. The spraying distance of slow-drying paint can be a little longer, and the spraying speed of quick-drying paint can be a little closer; when the 60 grit aluminum oxide viscosity is thick, it can be a little closer, and when the viscosity is thin, it can be a little longer; A little closer means a small range of adjustment between 10 mm and 50 mm.


The spray gun can be moved white corundum up and down, left and right, and it is best to work uniformly at a speed of 10-12 m / min. When spraying to the two ends of the object surface, the hand holding the trigger of the spray gun should be loosened quickly to reduce the paint mist, because the two ends of the 150 grit aluminum oxide object surface often need to receive more than two sprays, and pitting is easy to occur; which is the most likely place to cause sagging.


When spraying, press the next 1/3 or 1/4 of the previous one, so that there is no leakage. When alumina grit spraying quick-drying paint, spray it all in one order. The effect of post-spray is not ideal. If the pressure is too small, the paint liquid will not be atomized properly, and pits will form on the surface; if the 100 grit aluminum oxide blast media pressure is too large, it will sag, and if the paint mist is too large, it will waste materials and affect the health of the operator.
