Performance and application position of firebrick for blast furnace hot blast stove in Japan(black corundum). When the wind temperature is higher than 900 ℃, the traditional materials of the lining at high temperature and the hot blast stove of gerussia blast furnace are as follows: the ball top and upper masonry are constructed with high alumina bricks with Al2O3 content of 62% ~ 72%(aluminium oxide grit 24 mesh), and the middle and lower masonry are constructed with clay bricks with Al2O3 content of 38%.


In addition, the service life of Japan's hot blast stove can generally be used for two blast furnaces, i.e. 15-20 years(pink corundum). The air temperature of the hot blast stove is significantly increased, so the low expansion silica brick is generally used for the construction of Qiuyi and the 6-7m high part of the upper part(brown fused alumina grit), and the mullite brick, corundum brick, kaolin brick and clay brick are used for the rest parts according to the different temperature.

In China, the off stove hot blast stove is generally of internal combustion type, its lining and lattice brick are generally built with high aluminum bricks and clay bricks(brown aluminum oxide); the high temperature part of the external combustion hot blast stove is generally built with silicon bricks, the heat exchange efficiency of hot blast furnaces(white aluminum oxide 120 grit), and the middle and low temperature parts are successively built with high aluminum bricks and clay bricks.


It must be noted that recently, the volume stability of refractories(brown aluminium oxide), the high temperature load creep resistance of refractories, the thermal expansion performance of refractories, and the volume stability of refractories. However, because of their thin brick walls, deformation may occur, and because the flue is small, which is easy to cause blockage(brown aluminum oxide blast media). To sum up, the refractories used in blast furnace hot blast stove are similar in different countries.
