When the sintering temperature is too high, the grain is easy to grow abnormally(pink aluminum oxide), which destroys the microstructure of the ceramic corundum abrasive particles and leads to the deterioration of the abrasive properties(brown aluminum oxide factory). A new type of ceramic corundum abrasive developed by the Key Laboratory of advanced ceramics and processing technology of Tianjin University and a self-made 3H bond were used to make a test strip of ceramic corundum abrasive.


In this paper, the manufacture of ceramic corundum abrasives is studied. R2o-mo-b2o-al2o3-sio2 city aluminum silicate glass was selected as the basic ceramic bond system(white aluminum oxide). The influence of the composition of the ceramic bond and the preparation process on the bond and the performance of the ceramic corundum abrasives was studied(steel shot abrasive). The effect of the amount of the bond and the sintering temperature on the performance of the ceramic corundum abrasives was also studied.


When the aluminum silicon ratio is 3.0, the fire resistance of the bond is 826 ℃(glass beads manufacturers), when the aluminum silicon ratio is reduced to 1.4, the fire resistance is 762 ℃, the bending strength of the ceramic corundum abrasive increases first and then decreases with the increase of the aluminum silicon ratio, and when the aluminum silicon ratio is 2.6, the strength can reach 54.6mpa(aluminum oxide blasting media). The increase of the aluminum turnover ratio in the ceramic bond will lead to the increase of the fire resistance of the bond.
